Civic Association COMMITTEES

NEWSLETTER COMMITTEE
The Newsletter Committee is responsible for the semi-annual Community newsletter. Members of this committee work with the newsletter editor to do various tasks, including writing and editing of newsletter content, ad sales, and newsletter distribution.

CLEAN COMMITTEE
Also known as the Clean Team, the Clean Committee is responsible for coordinating neighborhood cleanups and working with volunteer organizations inside and outside of Greater Fulton to help control litter and keep our neighborhood clean.

OUTREACH/ COMMUNICATIONS COMMITTEE
The Outreach/ Communications Committee is responsible for communicating about meetings and other community events to residents of Greater Fulton by email, telephone and through social media. The Committee is also responsible for outreach to new community residents.

CITY SERVICES COMMITTEE
The City Services Committee reports and tracks community issues that require the City of Richmond to solve the problem. This could include calls to various departments within the City to seek assistance with a problem (e.g., Richmond Police, Public Utilities, Parks and Recreation, Code Enforcement, etc.).

EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
The Executive Committee is composed of the Civic Association’s current officers, the Chairpersons of standing committees, and other members selected by the President. The Committee sees to the ongoing business of the organization between general meetings and is responsible for short-term and long-term planning.

BEAUTIFICATION COMMITTEE
The Beautification Committee works within the community and with the City of Richmond to identify areas in our neighborhood that could use a little extra improvement in the way of murals, artwork, plantings, etc.
